Wolfgang Koester is the CEO and co-founder of FiREapps. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in developing and implementing currency risk management programs for Fortune 2000 companies and governments. Prior to forming FiREapps, he served as President of GFTA Trendanalysen Inc., a quantitative currency management company. He has been named as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Finance” by Treasury & Risk and is a member of Global Finance’s “Who’s Who in Foreign Exchange.” Koester is a frequent speaker at university and industry events and is a regular contributor to industry publications, including The Economist, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Treasury & Risk and AFP Exchange, as well as networks such as Fox Business, Bloomberg, CNBC and PBS. Koester holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in International Management from The Garvin School of International Management. He is a board member of ACI International, The Financial Markets Association, and is a former member of the editorial board of the AFP Risk Newsletter.

Corey Edens is the Chief Solutions Officer and co-founder of FiREapps. In this role, Edens oversees the company’s product and solution strategy and assists clients in designing and implementing holistic currency risk management programs. Prior to beginning this role in 2000, Edens served in numerous executive finance and accounting roles, including his role as President of Valcon Distributing Ltd., Inc. and Controller and Director of Operations for the Microsoft Network. He has also worked as Controller and CFO in the real estate and computer industries and has several years of auditing experience at Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Corey holds a B.S. degree with high honors in accounting from the University of Montana. He is a Trustee of The University of Montana Foundation and past Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the University of Montana’s School of Business Administration. Edens is also a board member of ACI America, The Financial Markets Association. He has been published in the Journal of Corporate Treasury Management and is a frequent speaker at university and industry events.

Andy Gage is the Vice President of Strategic Market Development, Global Head of Research at FiREapps. Gage advises corporations, consulting firms and business partners on a wide range of foreign exchange exposure management topics and emerging industry best practices. He has 20+ years of experience in FX exposure management, business process re-engineering, lean manufacturing, ERP and complex system deployment, marketing and product management marketing, product management and consulting. Prior to joining FiREapps, Gage was VP of Marketing for Cyclone Commerce, and has also held executive-level positions at Deloitte Consulting and Syntex Pharmaceuticals. He is a frequent speaker at Treasury and Finance conferences and educational sessions. Gage holds an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin and Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Arizona.

Neil currently manages the FiREapps Sales team and oversees Client relationships throughout the client lifecycle. Through this role, Neil establishes a relationship with clients from the early stages of the sales process and ensures that FiREapps clients continue to leverage the FiREapps Service to support their changing business needs. Prior to his tenure at FiREapps, Neil was Vice President of Client Development at a privately held IT Consulting firm, where he was responsible for establishing new client relationships and helping existing clients with their plans for growth. Earlier in his career, Neil worked for Electronic Data Systems, where he served in a variety of International and Corporate Finance roles before becoming Division President for the Credit Union Industry Group, overseeing annual revenues in excess of $200 Million. Neil holds an MBA from the University of Washington as well as an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Edinburgh.

John Brandt joined the company in June 2007 as VP of Product Management. In this role he is responsible for product definition and direction as well as development and support of connectivity and interaction with customer business systems. Previously, John was a co-founder at Sabrix, Inc., acquired by Thompson Reuters in 2009, where he held the positions of vice president of integrations, product management and strategic initiatives. At Sabrix, John participated in nearly all aspects of the company to redefine the delivery of real-time tax determination as a centralized management system and later as part of a Software as a Service model. Prior to starting Sabrix, he was the senior systems analyst/technical lead for corporate information systems at Tektronix, Inc. He has 25 years of experience in product development and life cycle management, information technology and services, business operations and software development, quality assurance, support and release processes. He holds an MBA degree from Portland State University and a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Washington.
