FiREapps Winter Release Includes Advanced Functionalities for Treasury and FP&A
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) – FiREapps, the leading provider of enterprise currency management (ECM) solutions, announces their 2018 winter release featuring a new suite of enterprise currency analytics and advanced functionalities for balance sheet exposure management.
As a part of this release, FiREapps is introducing enterprise currency analytics to the marketplace – a new breed of analytics for treasury, FP&A and accounting teams that help organizations gain an accurate and timely understanding of how currencies are impacting their business. This suite of analytics includes translation impact, constant currency and multicurrency budget-to-actual analyses.
“This release is a new milestone for FiREapps as we work to expand our currency management solutions to meet the growing needs of treasury and FP&A,” said FiREapps CEO, Wolfgang Koester. “In our ongoing collaboration with our customers, we heard from them that there was a need in the marketplace for organizations to provide the same data treasury uses to manage risk to other areas of the organization. This new suite of analytics is our response to their requests and fills the data gap that they used to experience.”
Additionally, FiREapps has extended its balance sheet exposure management offerings to include FX trade management, trade aggregation, netting and allocation, interactive cost and risk efficiency analysis and FX gain/loss analytics.
“We have always prided ourselves on giving multinationals access to the accurate, complete and timely data from their ERP and planning systems and this new winter release builds upon that, expanding our offerings in foreign exchange exposure management and adding new products to help treasury and FP&A meet requirements for managing and explaining currency impacts,” said Koester.
With the aid of these new functionalities, treasury and finance can make meaningful sense of their data in an easily-consumable, visual format. FiREapps winter release functionalities were created based on client feedback, taking into account what real-life practitioners felt their programs needed and applying industry best practices.
