Wolfgang J. Koester - CEO

Koester has managed risk for Fortune 100 companies as well as governments, including G-10s, since 1986. Prior to forming Rim-Tec, Koester served as President with GFTA Trendanalysen Inc., a quantitative currency manager. Koester holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and a Master's Degree in International Management from The Garvin School of International Management. Named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance by Treasury and Risk in 2007 and a member of Global Exchanges's 2007 "Who's Who in Foreign Exchange" list, Mr Koester regularly contributes to industry publications including Treasury and Risk, AFP Exchange and GT News. He is a member of the editorial board of the AFP Risk newsletter.


Corey Edens - CFO/COO

Prior to his appointment in 2000 as Chief Financial/Operating Officer, Edens served in numerous executive finance and accounting roles. Prior to joining the company, Edens served as President of Valcon Distributing Ltd., Inc. Before Valcon, Edens served as the Controller and Director of Operations for the Microsoft Network. He has also worked as Controller and CFO in the real estate and computer industries and has several years of auditing experience at Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Edens is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree with high honors in accounting from the University of Montana. He is a Trustee of The University of Montana Foundation and past Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the University of Montana's School of Business Administration. In addition, he is a Member of the Montana Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs (MADE).


Lougie Anderson, Ph.D. - CTO & VP of Product Development

As CTO and VP of Product Development, Dr. Anderson oversees product development, IT and the overall technology direction of the company. A 26 year veteran of the computer industry, Anderson has an extensive background in architecting and implementing complex, highly secure, distributed enterprise systems and a history of innovative research. Prior to this appointment, Anderson was Vice President of Product Development at Sabrix Inc. Before her tenure at Sabrix, she was Vice President of Engineering at GemStone Systems. She has also been a senior manager/director at Sequent Computer Systems, Servio Corporation, Tektronix, and Burroughs Corp. Anderson holds Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Computer Science from University of Washington as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics. In 2008, Anderson was named one of the Top 50 Women in Tech by Corporate Board Magazine.

 

Andrew Gage - Vice President of Strategic Market Development

Mr. Gage joined the company as Vice President of Marketing in the summer of 2006 and subsequently took on the role of Vice President of Sales. Gage has accumulated over 16 years of experience in marketing, product management and consulting. He was most recently Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Destinator Technologies where he had global oversight for all aspects of marketing and product strategy. Prior to Destinator, Gage was Vice President of Marketing and Industry Solutions at Cyclone Commerce. He also spent several years providing strategic consulting services for Deloitte Consulting. Gage holds an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.

David Handy - Vice President of Sales

David  Handy

Mr.Handy has accumulated over 20 years of experience in enterprise sales, including his most recent role as Senior Director, North American Commercial Technology Sales at Oracle Corporation. During his tenure at Oracle, he drove industry-leading growth for both existing and new product lines, including applications, security and identity management. Mr. Handy fulfilled a dual role as Senior Director, Infrastructue IT at Oracle, acting as strategic architect fo the design, implementation and delivery of internal tracking systems for the Oracle North American Sales group. Mr. Handy holds a BSEE from Arizona State University.


John Brandt- Vice President of Product Management


John BrandtBrandt joined the company subsequent to his tenure at Sabrix, Inc., where he was a co-founder and held the positions of vice president of integrations, product management and strategic initiatives. At Sabrix, Inc. Brandt participated in nearly all aspects of the company to redefine the delivery of real time tax determination as a centralized management system and later as  part of a Software as a Service model. Prior to starting Sabrix, Brandt was the senior systems analyst/technical lead for corporate information systems at Tektronix, Inc. He has deep expertise in product development and life cycle management, information technology and services, business operations and software development, quality assurance, support and release processes. Brandt received his Master of Business Administration degree from Portland State University and Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Washington.


Neil Griffiths - Vice President of Client Services


Neil Griffiths joined the company as Vice President of Client Services in April 2008. In this role, Griffiths is responsible for building and managing FiREapps Client Services organization which includes our client on-boarding, professional services, customer support and account management organizations. He brings more than 17 years of experience at leading technology service organizations. He most recently served as Vice President of Client Development for Meridian Technology Group, Inc., a privately held IT Consulting company. Prior to Meridian, Griffiths spent 11 years with EDS in a variety of executive and finance roles. Griffiths left EDS as Division President for the Credit Union Industry Group, having earlier served as Client Executive overseeing Account Management for the Division. Earlier in his tenure at EDS, Griffiths oversaw the International Treasury and Inter-Company Accounting team and subsequently oversaw the Consolidation and Financial Reporting for International Operations. A native of Cheshire in England, Griffiths is a Certified Management Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Washington as well as his undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh.
