FiREapps Appoints Industry Veterans to Executive Management Team
Company Expands Leadership Talent with New CTO & Vice President of Product Management, Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Sales
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — November 7, 2006 — FiREapps, the leading provider of corporate foreign exchange management technologies, today announced the appointment of three new management team members. The company named Lougie Anderson, Ph.D. chief technology officer and vice president of product development, Andrew Gage vice president of marketing and Adam Ross vice president of sales.

Dr. Anderson is a 26 year veteran of the computer industry and has an extensive background in architecting and implementing complex, highly secure, distributed enterprise systems and a history of innovative research. As CTO and vice president of product management, she will manage the company's product lifecycle process from business case development to go-to-market. Dr. Anderson was most recently vice president of product development at Sabrix Inc. Previously she was vice president of engineering at GemStone Systems. She also held director positions at Sequent Computer Systems, Servio Corporation, Tektronix and Burroughs Corporation.
Andrew Gage has accumulated over 16 years of experience in marketing, product management and consulting. In his role as vice president of marketing, Andrew will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy and value proposition to our customers. Gage was most recently vice president of marketing and product management for Destinator Technologies where he had global oversight for all aspects of marketing and product strategy. Prior to Destinator, Gage was Vice President of Marketing and Industry Solutions at Cyclone Commerce. He also spent several years providing strategic consulting services for Deloitte Consulting.
Adam Ross brings over 12 years of experience in software sales and proven success in revenue growth for complex, high-growth global organizations. In his role as vice president of sales, Ross will lead the direct sales team toward achieving the company's 2007 objectives. Ross has extensive sales management experience, most recently as vice president of channel sales for NetSuite where he managed all aspects of the company’s channel strategy. Before joining NetSuite Ross served as national sales director for Best Software's CRM division. While at Best Software, Ross oversaw all aspects of the business for the CRM division of the company.
