Executive Briefing on Foreign Exchange Best Practices – What every CFO needs to know about Foreign Exchange
As former CFO of Microsoft, John Connors understands the challenges of managing foreign exchange exposure. It is no surprise that he still believes that managing foreign exchange is the hardest job in finance. He, James Hallemeyer, Director of Foreign Exchange for Citigroup Global Markets, and Bret England, Group Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer for JDA Software Group, Inc. are joining our FX Best Practices Webinar series to discuss the need for corporations to invest in the adoption of best practices based approaches for managing foreign exchange exposure. Mr. England will share his company’s challenges with managing foreign exchange exposure and how JDA Software successfully achieved and benefited from the investment in best practices. Last but not least Mr. Hallemeyer will share applicable best practices that Citigroup feels are prudent for corporations to use to effectively manage foreign exchange risk. He will also provide attendees an understanding of Citigroups CitiFX Chief Dealer, which has the ability to automatically receive, process, and track foreign exchange transactions, resulting from decisions provided by the FiREapps application.
