Board Members
Wolfgang J. Koester - Chairman of the Board
Mr. Koester is the CEO of Rim-Tec, Inc. which developed FiREapps™, the leading foreign exchange exposure technology firm. Mr. Koester has been managing risk for Fortune 100 companies as well as governments, including G-10s, since 1986.
In June 2000 Mr. Koester formed Rim-Tec which, using experience with the largest and most sophisticated companies, commenced the development of foreign exchange best practices for middle market companies. Rim-Tec risk management solutions have awarded the company a teaming agreement with Accenture, a PricewaterhouseCoopers presentation, as well as a co-branded product with UBS International. Prior to forming Rim-Tec, Mr. Koester worked for over 13 years in various capacities with GFTA Trendanalysen Inc., a quantitative currency manager. In 1995 Mr. Koester became President of GFTA, serving for 5 years in that role.
Mr. Koester holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and a Master's in International Management from The Garvin School of International Management ("Thunderbird").
John Connors - Director
John Connors joined the Rim-Tec Board of Directors in January 2006. Currently John is a partner at Ignition Partners, LLC, a capital investment firm.
Prior to joining Ignition, John spent sixteen years at Microsoft Corporation in several strategic roles. From January 2000 to April 2005 he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. In this role John was responsible for managing the global Finance function as well as corporate services, procurement, real estate and the company's Global Operations & Technology group.
John also held a variety of positions including Vice President of the Worldwide Enterprise Group, where he was responsible for the sales, services and relationship strategy for large, medium-sized and small businesses. Before that, Connors served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). Before serving as CIO, he held a number of positions within and outside finance, including Corporate Controller, General Manager of worldwide financial operations, Director of business operations of Microsoft's European headquarters in Paris, and Director of business operations of the Worldwide Sales and Support Strategy Group.
Prior to joining Microsoft, John held management or staff positions at PIP Printing Inc., SAFECO Corp. and Deloitte, Haskins and Sells.
John is also a member of the Board of Directors of Nike, Jobster, BioPassword and Certus corporations. In addition he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Nature Conservancy of Montana, the National Advisory Board for University of Montana Athletics, and the Board of Directors for the Washington Policy Center and the Bellevue, Washington Football Boosters.
John received his B.A. in accounting from the University of Montana. He also received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Montana.
Corey Edens - Director
Mr. Edens joined Rim-Tec in 2000. Prior to Rim-Tec, he was the President of Valcon Distributing Ltd., Inc. His responsibilities included managing all financial affairs and the strategic direction of the company. From 1995-1997, he was the Controller and Director of Operations for the Microsoft Network where he managed the controller functions of MSN (accounting, planning, budgeting, controls, reporting), and directed the integration of MSN's proprietary billing system to Microsoft's enterprise accounting system, teaming with development on billing system enhancements and managing the credit card clearing relationships. He has also worked as Controller and CFO in the real estate and computer industries and has two years of auditing experience at Deloitte Haskins and Sells.
Mr. Edens is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree with high honors in accounting from the University of Montana. He is Vice Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the University of Montana's School of Business Administration.
Robert Headley - Director
Robert Headley joined the Rim-Tec Board of Directors in January 2006. Currently Robert is a partner at Ignition Partners, LLC, a capital investment firm.
Prior to joining Ignition, Robert spent seven years at Starbucks Coffee Company, most recently as Vice President, Finance & Treasurer. In that role, he managed Starbucks Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Treasury, Business Planning & Analysis, and Profit Improvement functions.
Prior to Starbucks, Robert spent three years in the Principal Investment Area and Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in New York and Sydney, Australia.
Robert is also a Director on the board of Enclarity, Sparkplug Broadband and Extend America.
Robert holds an M.S. and B.S. degree with distinction in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Phillip Meyers - Director
Phillip Meyers is a board member of various privately held companies. Mr. Myers served as Chairman, CEO and President of the Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. (HAS) from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 - 2002, Mr. Meyers was the Chairman of HAS when the individual he hired and mentored became the CEO. HAS is the largest Jiffy Lube franchisee in the United States and is a pioneer in the development of sophisticated operating and reporting systems that have enabled its' Jiffy Lube units to substantially exceed the industry averages in volume and profitability measurements.
Mr. Meyers was a 50% owner and operator of LOMA and J-Lube, Inc. which operated 19 Jiffy Lube stores in Nebraska and Austin, Texas from 1988-1995. The stores were ranked as some of the highest in the industry for profitability, volume, employee development, training and operational systems compliance. In March 1995, these entities were merged into HAS.
Prior to 1988, Mr. Meyers, a CPA, was a founding partner and President of Lutz, Friedman & Meyers, P.C., an accounting firm located in Omaha, Nebraska. He specialized in business valuation, management advisory services, income tax law and capital formation for non-public clients and individuals.

Brent Callinicos
As Vice President and Treasurer at Google, Brent is responsible for treasury and risk management activities. He joined Google early in 2007 after 14 years at Microsoft. His most recent role there was as Corporate Vice President and Divisional CFO for Microsoft’s Platforms and Services Division, which encompassed the Windows, Server and MSN business groups. He was also Microsoft’s Treasurer from 2000-2004. Brent has received numerous awards and commendations for his leadership at Microsoft, including a 2003 Alexander Hamilton award for Overall Treasury Excellence. Previously, Brent worked at Walt Disney, with financial responsibility for Walt Disney Records, and in various treasury and financial capacities at Procter & Gamble. Aside from his many other memberships and advisory roles, Brent served on Washington State's Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors from 2001-2006.
Brent received a BS in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in finance from the Kenan Flagler school at UNC. Brent is also a CPA. He was honored with the Distinguished MBA Alumni Award from Kenan Flagler in 2004 and cited as a top alumnus in the Wall Street Journal and Princeton Review.
Ian Giddy
Ian Giddy is a Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University. In the past he has been Director of the International Product Group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. There, he was responsible for swap-related deals as well as the introduction of several index-linked and other hybrid bond structures for the firm's international clients. He has also held appointments at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, the University of Michigan, the University of Chicago, and Georgetown University. He has served in the U.S. Government at the Comptroller of the Currency and at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. During 1980-81 he was on leave as an economist with the International Monetary Fund.
A U.S. citizen, he was born in South Africa where he obtained a B.S. in Psychology and Mathematical Statistics. His M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan (1972) was followed in 1974 by a Ph.D. obtained from the same institution under a Ford Foundation Western European Fellowship.
Dr. Giddy has served as a consultant to a number of multinational corporations and financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, Yamaichi Securities, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Banco Santander, JP Morgan, First Boston, Morgan Stanley and Citibank. He has lectured in Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Peoples Republic of China, Peru, The Philippines, Portugal, Senegal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Venezuela. He also worked for three years as Consulting Economist at the Claremont Economics Institute.
Dr. Giddy's twenty-five years of practical and academic experience reflect his interest in international finance, corporate finance, financial markets and risk management. He has participated in studies for the U.S. Treasury, the U.S. Congress and the World Bank, and is the author and co-author of over fifty articles in the field of international finance. These have appeared both in professional journals such as Euromoney and in academic journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
He is co-author of The International Money Market (Second Edition, 1994) and Cases in International Finance and co-editor of the two-volume International Finance Handbook. Recent books include Global Financial Markets (Houghton Mifflin), Asset Securitization in Asia and the Hudson River Watertrail Guide.
Dr. Thomas Selling
Dr. Selling is a business strategist, technologist, educator, author and CPA. He is a founding partner of Grove Technologies, prior to Grove Technologies he served as Academic Fellow, Office of the Chief Accountant, at the SEC. Dr. Selling has served as tenured faculty at Thunderbird, the Garvin Graduate School of International Management and authored numerous academic and practice publications. He is frequently invited to speak about current accounting and financial reporting issues at conferences, has produced and led over 100 seminars for business professionals, and has been quoted in leading business publications such as the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Selling has a Bachelor's degree and M.B.A. from Cornell, and a Ph.D. from Ohio State.
Pat Sullivan
Pat Sullivan is recognized as a pioneer in the high-tech industry who created the contact manager ACT!. Mr. Sullivan was named as one of the "80 Most Influential People in Sales and Marketing History" in 1998 by the magazine Sales & Marketing Management among the ranks of Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Jack Welch, Donald Trump, and Bill Gates.
Mr. Sullivan started Contact Software in Dallas, Texas in 1986. With his friend Mike Muhney and two programmers, Randy Haben and John Mauer, the team developed the first commercial version of the contact manager ACT!. In 1993, ACT! was acquired by Symantec. In 1995, Mr. Sullivan founded the sales automation company SalesLogix. In 1999, SalesLogix Corp was renamed to Interact Commerce Corporation and ACT! was reacquired from Symantec. In May 2001, Sage Group plc acquired Interact Commerce Corporation.
In 2005, Mr. Sullivan launched Jigsaw Health and published the book Wellness Piece by Piece in an effort to help the 125 million Americans suffering from chronic health conditions.
